It is reported that the new SUV, being regarded as the sister model of the FAW Toyota RAV4, is built on the GA-K platform under the same TNGA system as the Lexus ES. Like the RAV4, the Wildlander will also be available in both the fuel and hybrid versions. Both versions of the new car are designed in a new design language. The headlights and the grille form an "X" style, similar to the Lexus design, and the overall size is exquisite. At the same time, the large-sized honeycomb-shape grille is used to show its powerfulness and luxury. The fuel and hybrid versions are differentiated with blue decorations at the central Toyota logo.

From the side, the Wildlander adopts the popular suspension roof. In addition, the car's side skirts and wheel arches are equipped with black guards for a sporty feel. The rear of the new car is simple and refined. The taillights are designed in paper-clip style, and the car adopts dual-sided four-exhaust pipe. According to the declaration information, the Wildlander has panoramic sunroof, luggage rack, panoramic image, rim shape, door handle style and two kinds of body color optional.

The new car is built on the GA-K platform of the medium- and large-sized models, which the Lexus ES and the eighth-generation Camry are built on it. The new car is equipped with a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine of the M20C with a maximum power of 126 kW and a fuel consumption of only 6.4L per 100 kilometers.
