On September 17, IIA learned from SAIC R that its Beijing delivery center formally opened, and the first batch of SAIC R ER6 was also delivered to consumers simultaneously. The new car is the first pure electric sedan under SAIC R Auto. It adopts a brand-new design as a whole and is priced from 162,800 yuan to 200,800 yuan. In terms of power, the new car uses a three-in-one electric drive assembly with a comprehensive cruising range of 620 kilometers.

At the delivery ceremony, SAIC R Auto also conducted a test for all car owners. On the evening of September 16th, SAIC R car held a challenge. Witnessed by the staff of the notary office following the car, ER6 arrived at the delivery center after making six rounds along Beijing Fifth Ring Road (about 98.58km one-way). The actual driving distance was 630.6km, and the remaining power was 8%.

The exterior design of SAIC R ER6 is very young and stylish. The new car is built with family design concepts, and the body contours and lines are very smooth. The iconic penetrating LED headlight set on the front face is very iconic. The black grille under the front bumper is inspired by the Fibonacci sequence, which optimizes aerodynamic efficiency and improves heat dissipation efficiency.

The length, width, and height of the SAIC R ER6 are 4,724 mm, 1,835 mm and 1,493 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2,715 mm. At the rear, the design of the SAIC R ER6 is relatively simple. The blackened taillights are connected by a chrome trim to further enhance the sporty characteristics.

The interior styling of SAIC R ER6 is very stretched, the two-tone leather looks very warm, and the blue part of the leather also adds glitter powder. This design is designed to outline that when the dolphin jumps out of the water, the arc on the back shows a gleaming texture under sunlight.

In terms of configuration, the performance of SAIC R ER6 is very interesting, such as LED headlights, front and rear parking radar, keyless entry and start, ACC adaptive cruise, panoramic sunroof, full LCD instrument panel, automatic air conditioning, main driver's seat The current mainstream configurations such as electric chair adjustment and front seat heating will be equipped. The maximum NEDC cruising range can reach 620 kilometers and the average energy consumption is 12.2kWh/100km. The chassis suspension of the car is a combination of front MacPherson suspension and rear torsion beam suspension.
